What day is it?!?

It's been a while.... I know. I really haven't been slacking tho. I've been really busy. (Productive as well!!!)

Wedding planning is *so* time consuming. Everyday-it seems- I'm making plans, making lists, on and on....

Everytime we think we can cross an item of the list, there's 5 new things that we hadn't thought about yet.

We're almost done booking our honeymoon reservations!! YAY!
the hotel can be viewed (with Internet Explorer only, dont ask!):

What else?
Next week is our NSO Meeting in Columbus for work. They've moved our opening up a day already: March 21st. :)

Please enjoy a few pictures of Gnome's first adventure overseas....... he should return to the States within in few days! It appears as if he's having a marvelous time!

He likes to hang out! Ardrahan was not too far away, and he needed a little break.... He's soo strong!

If there's one thing that I've taught Gnome, it's to never give up! On his adventure to the Dunguaire Castle, he said he never stopped thinking about saving the princess! He's got such a big heart!

"Euro Training Surfing is a blast!", said the gnome. He told me he became very skilled in this sport, while riding the rails. Go gnomie! I'm so proud..

"I'm definitely going to miss the bus!", the gnome said. My little gnome wasn't too worried...

My little Gnome is enjoying his journey across the Atlantic. This picture shows him on a cliff on the coast of Ireland, a destination he's dreamed about for quite some time...

Everyday Mind

January 7

Imagine a very poor man living in a decrepit little shanty, the only thing he owns in the world. What he does not know is that just beneath his shanty, but hidden in the dirt, is an inexhaustible vein of gold. As long as he remains ignorant of his hidden wealth, this pauper remains in poverty; but when he attends more closely to his own dwelling, he is bound to discover his own fathomless wealth. Similarly, all we need to do is unveil our own nature, and we will find an inexhaustible source of wisdom, compassion, and power. It is nothing we need to acquire, from anywhere or anything. It has always been there.
Seen in this light, the Buddha-nature requires no additions. One does not have to memorize sutras, recite prayers, or accumulate virtues to create it. All one needs to do is unveil it.
